Welcome to The Vine
We are one community spread across two locations in Hong Kong who are passionate about living out the Kingdom of God in all aspects of society. We gather throughout the week in community settings and come together for worship on Sundays. Our desire is that you would discover a place where you can explore and deepen your faith, journey with others in love and justice, and creatively encounter the hope there is in the fullness of Christ.

I am about to move the Vine into uncharted territory. I desire to take you to places you have never been, to stretch you beyond what you are currently comfortable with. These unchartered territories are necessary for your faith and my work. You do not have the strategy, resources, gifts, or wisdom for what is coming. This is not the issue. All you need to begin is faith and courage. This is about complete trust in me. What I will give you, though, is a burden. I will give you a new heart. I will make you unsatisfied for the here and now. I will place my hand upon you and stir up the joy of the pursuit of me.

SENIOR PASTOR
Andrew Gardener
Born in the UK, Andrew moved to Hong Kong at age 11, where he met and later married his wife, Christine. They have a beautiful adopted daughter Mia. Andrew holds a Master of Theology, oversees the executive leadership team at The Vine, and is devoted to creatively telling the gospel story. He is passionate about music, film, art and storytelling, and can often be found with a camera in his hand.

karla roscoe
Karla and her husband Richard have spent two decades in Hong Kong calling this vibrant city with its dynamic energy and cultural diversity, their home. In her spare time, Karla enjoys getting out in nature, finding strength and inspiration running the incredible trails and hills of HK. Karla is also passionate about people and seeing them grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.
