Welcome to The Vine
We are one community spread across two locations in Hong Kong who are passionate about living out the Kingdom of God in all aspects of society. We gather throughout the week in community settings and come together for worship on Sundays. Our desire is that you would discover a place where you can explore and deepen your faith, journey with others in love and justice, and creatively encounter the hope there is in the fullness of Christ.

WE NO LONGER SEE CHURCH AS A BUILDING, BUT INSTEAD AS A RIVER THAT FLOWS OUT

When grace is at work in us we receive something we did not expect, something we need or desire but could not give to ourselves, which means all we can do is simply be thankful and humbled and open. It is the posture of understanding and accepting rather than acting or doing. It is realising not that we have to earn anything or gain anything through our own action, but in the actions of Jesus which have already been done for us, we already have all we would ever need

Andrew Gardener
Born in the UK, Andrew moved to Hong Kong at age 11, where he met and later married his wife, Christine. They have a beautiful adopted daughter Mia. Andrew holds a Master of Theology, oversees the executive leadership team at The Vine, and is devoted to creatively telling the gospel story. He is passionate about music, film, art and storytelling, and can often be found with a camera in his hand.
EXECUTIVE PASTOR
karla roscoe
Karla and her husband Richard have spent two decades in Hong Kong calling this vibrant city with its dynamic energy and cultural diversity, their home. In her spare time, Karla enjoys getting out in nature, finding strength and inspiration running the incredible trails and hills of HK. Karla is also passionate about people and seeing them grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.
